What is Ardens Foundations?

Ardens Foundations is a technology-driven online donation platform that helps fulfill the daily essential needs of charity homes across India. We ensure that contributions are delivered directly to their doorsteps. Our platform offers a transparent and seamless process, making it simple and meaningful for you to support those in need.

Is Ardens Foundations a registered NGO?

Yes. It is run by the Ardens Foundations and is registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1882.

Do you accept cash donations?

We do not deal with direct cash donations. Donations are done online on our website, and are converted to and distributed in the form of essential goods needed by the NGOs. There is no monetary involvement directly with the NGO.

I have a cause that needs help. How do I go about it?

You can refer an NGO through the “Refer an NGO” feature on our website. Once the details are submitted, we will verify the organization and assess its needs. Upon approval, the NGO can start listing its requirements on our platform.

What is 80G?

Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 provides tax benefits on donations made to eligible charitable organizations, encouraging individuals and entities to support philanthropic causes. Ardens Foundations is a registered trust under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donations made to our organization are eligible for tax deductions of 50% or 100%, as per the applicable rules and regulations.

Why should I provide my PAN, Aadhar or Passport Number and Address to donate?

As per the amendments to the Income Tax Act, 1961 (effective from 1st April 2021), non-profit organizations are required to file a Statement of Particulars (Form 10BD) that includes details of all donors and donations. Accordingly, we collect information such as your PAN, Aadhaar, or Passport Number, along with your address. Providing these details enables you to claim tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to applicable regulations.

How do I get a receipt for my donation?

An email acknowledgment will be sent for every donation you make to the email address with which you have registered on Ardens Foundations. You can also find them under the ‘My Contributions’ section in your profile on our website.

Are donations made through Ardens Foundations eligible for tax deduction?

Yes, donations made to Ardens Foundations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, as applicable. You will receive an email receipt confirming your contribution as a charitable donation, with no goods or services provided in return. Since tax regulations may vary by location, we recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for guidance on claiming your deduction.
